I am a Melbourne based artist and Visual Art teacher. With a passion for Australian Art and Art History, and a strong interest in nature and the landscape, it is no wonder I like getting out into the landscape to create my paintings.  Like so many Australian artists, I find the colours and patterns in our vast land endlessly inspiring. I am interested in environmental and colonial concerns, and sometimes my work may suggest narratives with these themes, in an implicit way.

In my studio work, I occasionally develop and further reflect on an experience in the field - playing with the disparities of memory and lived experience. I work in oil, watercolour and pastel and ceramics.
